It was almost four and half years ago that I left everything behind, my beloved family and the incredible country of Iran to continue my higher education and persue a better life in Oslo. Back then, as a student, I was really poor financially and I was extra careful about my expenses. Back home fish and herb rice is a common and popular food, but sometimes people use tuna cans instead of a fancy fish! Norway, as we all know, is not a cheap country for anyone and for me this was... well, never mind! As I always love this food and I had to be financially stable I found out that I can have tuna can with herb rice in Norway as well. What could be better than that, easy and delicious especially for a student with an insane schedule! I have to confess that I usually used to eat half of the can in one meal and the rest for the day after, but belive me I literally miss that time!

Hope you all try this amazing dish, I am sure you gonna enjoy it!

Ekstra info

When it comes to herbs, I would say that you can try with different herbs but don't forget dill.

Also you can add chopped garlic to the rice (in the cooking process), it will bring it to another level if you are a fan of garlic.

For side you can have olives or a salad of your favorite!
